High School Musical: Zac Efron Undergoes Emergency Surgery

BuddyTV | by Today, BuddyTV learned that High School Musical heartthrob Zac Efron was rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency surgery.  The 20 year old actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and suffered from appendicitis.  He underwent surgery and is currently resting and recovering at the hospital.  A rep for Efron said that he is feeling much better and released a statement today, saying, "He had his appendix removed and is recuperating." Yesterday, High School Musical fans everywhere rejoiced upon hearing the news that the entire would officially be returning for the third and final installment of the film.  Director Kenny Ortega is returning for the feature film, entitled High School Musical 3: Senior Year. | Tue, Jan 15
