I’m writing to suggest you post a challenge to David Archuleta fans this weekend: Challenge them to make a point of calling XM 20 on 20 Radio to request “A Little Too Not Over You.” They dropped ALTNOY from their online list today, which means that not enough of us have been requesting it. This is not acceptable! David did not win the TCA Most Fanatic Fans category for nothing! If we put our minds to it, we can get ALTNOY back on their list. The added spins are very important at this time.
I make a point of calling their toll-free number about three times a day: once in the morning before I leave for work, once right before noon, and once in the evening. The trick to calling is that you should not call during their countdown shows, which occur at noon, 3 pm, 6 pm, and 9 pm ET and PT. (You need to wait about an hour and 45 minutes after a countdown show has begun before calling in to make sure they have completed their play list.) However, I believe this pertains to your own time zone. I live on the West Coast, so I only pay attention to PT countdown shows. Generally you’ll get a recording when you call. However, there are times when you could end up speaking with a DJ.
If enough of us call in over the next several days, they will probably add ALTNOY back on the list. If and when they do, then we need to be diligent about requesting it as frequently as possible (as often as every 5 minutes) using the online request form. We should also continue requesting via the telephone. I have been doing both, but obviously not enough D.A. fans have been joining me. Let’s turn this around! Here’s the toll free number: 866-553-2020
Thanks, guys.
