Andy Hurley Andy is seemingly pulling a Wentz recently, creating his own clothing line F*CKCITY (asterisk ours) as well as starting a record label to go along with it. We know Andy’s got an ear for music underneath that coat of tattoos. It’d be interesting to see what other bands he lifts out o...
Indeed, the appearance of a greatest hits set (the official title is Believers Never Die - Greatest Hits) is fanning the flames on Fall Out Boy fan sites with rumors that the band (which also includes singer-songwriter and guitarist Patrick Stump, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy...

Fall Out Boy — with only six years’ of music under their belt — are releasing their greatest hits collection Believers Never Die on November 17th. Sly and the Family Stone famously released a hits LP in 1970 after just three years of existence. So you tell us: When is it too early to release a gre...

Tomorrow sees the release of Band Hero, the next evolutionary step from the same people who brought the world the ridiculously successful Guitar Hero series. As you might guess, band hero is Guitar Hero plus the rest of the band: vocals, drums and bass. No groupie avatar option yet. Chicago p...

Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge knows every good interview starts at a urinal, so that’s precisely where he begins his tour of his dressing room backstage at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The trio — DeLonge, singer/bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker — hit up the city’s legendary v...

Which I find kind of silly, really. I mean, the only thing My Chem and Fall Out Boy have in common is an often intersecting fanbase and the fact that they toured together on Warped in 2004 and 2005. Pete does maintain a friendship with Mikey Way, the band's bassist and Ger...

Seems the version that first premiered featured an extended — and rather awful-looking — computer-generated shot of FOB bassist Pete Wentz saluting from the deck of a sinking ship. It didn't quite fit with the rather somber feel of the rest of the "Donnie" clip, and according to Wentz, the...

Overall, the band played with more heart than skill. The chugging rhythm section of Wentz and drummer Andy Hurley's was adequate but not especially interesting. Joe Trohman's guitar work felt careless at times. The band's best-known song, "Sugar, We're Goin Down," began almost unrecogn...

I had seen Fall Out Boy perform live on tv before and wasn’t expecting much. Some bands just can’t cut it live. They were great and we were blown away by their performance. Stumps vocals were in tune and it’s early in the tour so everyone’s fresh.

RS was also on the ground at Fall Out Boy’s tour kickoff in Phoenix, where they first showed off their corporate-villain look (the business suits, wigs and black eyes are a commentary on the financial crisis, though Wentz later told RS, “Satire doesn’t always go over well”).

The band just played Bamboozle Left with co-headliner 50 Cent (singer Patrick Stump told Billboard, by way of explanation: "Yeah. Totally. Yeah. Why not?"), and now comes another product of the band's forays into hip hop. Now streaking across the Web: a remix of FOB's "America's Suiteheart...

KristeenYoung* has teamed up with Fall Out Boy mutton chop master Patrick Stump for the dramatic duet "That's What It Takes, Dear." Under the supervision of the super-awesome Tony Visconti, "Dear" rumbles and thunders its way over spiky pianos and low synths to its going-for-it conclus...
