Teen Takeover On iTunes Music Video Charts!
We’ve been very surprised to see that Taylor Swift’s music video for “Love Story” climbed back to #1 on the Music Video charts on iTunes, beating out Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It),” which was a very successful music video, and single, on iTunes! Also, close behind Beyonce, is iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove at #3 with her music video for “About You Now,” off of iCarly (Music from and Inspired by the Hit TV Show). Others include Jonas Brothers‘ “Lovebug” at #9, after being out of the top ten on iTunes for over a more than a couple months now, it is back in the top ten. And lastly, Wizards of Waverly Place’s Selena Gomez rounds out the top ten with her music video “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know.”

Taylor Swift Leads “Fan Favorite Awards” With 3 Wins!
Jonas Brothers may have been in the lead with the most nominations (9) in Teen Scoop’s “Fan Favorite Awards 2008,” but they were no comparison to Taylor Swift! CONGRATS TO TAYLOR!!! This years “Fan Favorite Awards” were very close! Over thousands of votes were counted, and Selena Gomez lost to Brenda Song, for “Favorite TV Actress of the Year.” Taylor’s “Love Story” lost to Britney’s “Womanizer,” for “Favorite Music Video of the Year.” Gossip Girl beat out Wizards of Waverly Place for the win in “Favorite TV Show of the Year.” Also, High School Musical 3: Senior Year won over Raven-Symone’s College Road Trip for “Favorite Movie of the Year.”

Rising Disney stars/BFFs Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have made the trip up north to Toronto, Ontario, as the duo arrived arm-in-arm to their hotel on Thursday afternoon (July 3). Demi Lovato's star turn at Disney had its beginnings when she was 11. Her mother, a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and a country-music singer, took Ms. Lovato and her best friend, a fellow Barney performer named Selena Gomez, to a "talent search" in Austin organized by Disney, which was considering developing a Lizzie McGuire spinoff. For about the past six weeks, Gomez has been dubbed "the next Miley Cyrus," with Disney execs hoping to fast-track Gomez into even bigger stardom because they were getting nervous about some of the controversies surrounding the Hannah Montana star. The 15-year-old Gomez stars in the Disney Channel hit Wizards of Waverly Place.
