the above is an actual statement by Bandai...it seems like we're getting another Tamagotchi (I still don't have the V5 grrrrrrr :( can't wait anymore!!). I've found pictures on Tamagotchi Channel (click here) which, I think, show the tamagotchi V5.5. There will to be new designs, 30 new characters and 60 new items. It also seems that there will be jobs on this Tamagotchi. Japanese versions of the V5.5 will come with a DVD (like the one on the V5). Also the V5.5 will be able to connect the Familitchi/V5. How cool is that?
